Chick'n Drumsticks

8 drumsticks

Ingredients

DRUMSTICKS

20 fu chuk/bean curd sticks

8 rice paper sheets

1 tablespoon ground onion

1 tablespoon ground garlic

Sesame oil to fry

Wooden skewers/lemongrass sticks


GLAZE

100ml BBQ sauce

50ml soy sauce

1 tablespoon ssamjang paste


Method

1] Cover dried sticks in boiling water & leave aside for 20-30mins until they’ve softened

2] Drain & pat dry before evenly coating with garlic & onion powder

3] Tightly wrap each layer around a skewer to eventually build up a drumstick

4] Place rice paper into hot water until soft, transfer to a clean plate

5] Add drumstick to the centre of the rice paper circle, use a tablespoon or brush to coat with whisked marinade

6] Wrap over each side of rice paper to fully conceal your drumstick

7] Fry in hot sesame oil for 7-8 minutes per side & enjoy!
