Cheesy Cracker Squares

Time:

45 minutes

Serves:

15-18 crackers

Ingredients

120g plain flour

100g grated vegan cheese

70g cold vegan butter

3-5 tablespoons unsweetened oat milk

2 teaspoons jeera seeds

Salt & pepper

Method

1] Blitz flour, cheese, salt & pepper together in a food processor until combined

2] Optional step here to toast jeera seeds in a dry pan for 3-4 minutes & add to the mix

3] Add cold cubed butter & blitz until wet & grainy

4] Add milk spoon by spoon & pulse until dough begins to clump together

5] Remove & form into a dough ball/log

6] Wrap up & chill for a minimum of 45 minutes in the fridge

7] Remove, roll into a flat rectangle, cut into small squares or circles

8] Transfer onto a lined baking tray & prick with a fork

9] Bake for 18-20 minutes at 180c until golden around the edges

10] Cool until crunchy & enjoy!
