Cheeseburger Panini

Time:

20 minutes

Serves:

1 panini

Ingredients

PATTY

200g vegan mince

2 slices vegan cheese

2 teaspoons garlic granules

1 teaspoon onion granules

1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs

Oil for frying


PANINI

1 panini bread

1 tomato

1 small white onion

2 gherkins

Cracked black pepper

Barbecue sauce or ketchup

Method

1] Season vegan mince with garlic & onion

2] Crush with a fork & combine

3] Form half into a panini-length patty, add 1 slice of cheese & pat down the remaining mince on top to conceal

4] Fry on oiled pan for 5-6 mins per side, add other slice of cheese to melt at the end

5] Add finely shaved onions to the pan & sautè for final 3-4mins

6] Layer into warm panini alongside sliced tomatoes, gherkins & bbq sauce

7] Slice in half & enjoy!
