Creamy Cashew Sauce

40 minutes

Serves:

500ml

Ingredients

140g cashew nuts

200ml hot water

100ml olive oil

2 tablespoons hot sauce

1 teaspoon black mustard seeds

Half a lemon for juice

Pinch of flaky sea salt

Method

1] Soak cashew nuts in boiling water for a minimum of 30 minutes

2] Add mustard seeds to hot olive oil, allow to pop for 1-2 minutes & remove from heat

3] Blend ingredients together until smooth & store in fridge for up to 5 days
